On Saturday, November 26, 2016, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Animal Nutrition Experimental Centre in Gorzyń, the president of the Centre, prof. Andrzej Rutkowski handed awards to the employees. The university president, prof. Jan Pikul emphasized the research and scientific role and importance of the Centre as an experimental testing ground, bringing significant achievements and effects for the doffer industry.

On September 14-16, 2015, the president of the Animal Nutrition Experimental Centre - Prof. Dr. hab. Andrzej Rutkowski, as the president of the Polish Branch of the World Association of Poultry Knowledge (PB WPSA), received from the Organizing Committee of the XXVII International Poultry Symposium, ceremonial thanks for delivering a lecture and conducting the Plenary Session of the above-mentioned conference.
It was an extremely cordial gesture to give the Professor a bench with images of animals from Gorzyński village. The bench has already found its honorable place in our Experimental Centre. Thank you very much.
600th anniversary of Gorzyń
On August 29, 2015, a jubilee festival was held on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of Gorzyń. The festival began with the official part, during which distinguished residents were awarded, and the invited guests delivered a speech. During these celebrations, the Head of Gorzynia and the Gorzyń 600 Association, Prof. dr hab. Andrzej Rutkowski received the medal of the 600th anniversary for the great contribution to building up the identity and splendor of Gorzyń. The Professor was also thanked for our Experimental Centre for support and help in celebrating the 600th anniversary of Gorzyń.
